Mike Eikenberry

Mike Eikenberry oversees high-level fundraising for Eskenazi Health Foundation and seeks to build meaningful relationships with potential and current donors who support the programs and services of Eskenazi Health. Mike returns to Eskenazi Health Foundation after having previously served as the director of development, where he helped solicit major gifts as part of the $87-million campaign for the construction of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus and the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. An over 20-year veteran of the industry, Mike began his career as a gift officer at Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation and then moved to IUPUI, where he served as a member of the Office of Alumni Relations. Mike then went to work at Ball State University as part of the Bold Campaign for the College of Sciences and Humanities. He also worked for Indiana University, where he managed the development operations for the IU School of Informatics and Computing and the IUPUI School of Informatics. Most recently, he served as executive director of major gifts and planned giving at his alma mater, Butler University, where he lead a development team during the Butler Beyond Campaign to raise over $260 million in gifts and exceeded goals in planned giving. Mike holds a master’s degree from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree from Butler University. He currently serves on the board of Charitable Gift Planners of Indiana.
