Angela E. White, CFRE

Angela E. White, CFRE, is the Executive Vice President of the Eskenazi Health Foundation where she advances the foundation’s mission to inspire, energize, and promote a vital, healthy Indianapolis community by providing strategic guidance and philanthropic resources to Eskenazi Health.

Prior to joining the Eskenazi Health Foundation, Angela was a Senior Consultant at Johnson, Grossnickle and Associates (JGA), a strategic and philanthropic consulting firm. For 28 years, Angela provided tailored consulting services to clients and served as the firm’s CEO for 12 years.

Angela began her career in higher education, serving as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and the Executive Director for Institutional Advancement at the University of Indianapolis.

Angela is a member of the faculty at The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and often presents on the principles and techniques of fundraising, campaigns, major gifts, and women’s philanthropy.

She currently serves on the International Appeal Board for CFRE International and the Steering Committee for the Meridian Foundation Arago Awards for nonprofit innovation.  Previously, she has served as a member of the Editorial Review Board for Giving USA: The Annual Report on Philanthropy, the Conference Co-Chair for CASE District 5, the Vice President for Membership for the Indiana Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and as the Chair of the Indiana Achievement Awards.

In 2021, Angela was recognized as the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Indiana Chapter. In 2012, Angela was recognized as a Women of Influence honoree by the Indianapolis Business Journal for her extensive work with Indianapolis-area nonprofits and her efforts to advance the understanding of women’s philanthropy.

Angela is a CFRE, graduate of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana and obtained her master’s degree in business from Purdue University.
